Group name: Metabolomics Interdisciplinary Laboratory (MIl@b)
Principal investigator: Xavier Correig
Research lines: The research group MIl@b is part of the Electronic Engineering Department of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV). The group is highly multidisciplinary, consisting of electronic engineers, chemists, biologists, biochemicals, etc. The MIl@b mission is to develop new signal processing and data processing processes and bioinformatics tools for NMR, LC/GC-MS and MSI metabolomics.
The IP of this project is the director of the Metabolomic Platform, a pioneering research infrastructure in Spain, the mission is to collaborate with research groups in the area of biomedicine and health, with the mission of using metabolomics as a complementary tool for their research.
Spin-offs: Biosfer Teslab
This project has been co-funded by the European Union through the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) and has the support of the Secretariat of Universities and Research, Ministry of Enterprise and Knowledge of the Government of Catalonia.
